Results

Of the six aromatic aldehydes testes, the spider monkeys were most sensitive to bourgeonal, and second most to 3-PPA.

They had the hardest time discriminating helional and canthoxal from the control odorant used.

Lilial and cyclamal was in the middle regarding the spider monkeys sensitivity to the six odorants.

The spider monkeys were most sensitive to bourgeonal and 3-PPA (red ovals indicate group of importance, or lack thereof))
