The frequency distribution of the invertebrates were determined for the two habitats. The similarity of the habitats were evaluated using similarity index as defined by the sum of the minimum proportions of the species found in the two locations( Renkonen similarity index). The gut content and the estimation of the invertebrates abundance in the benthic area  per hand net sample are represented in  fig. 3.0, the invertebrates samples fig 3.1. The  means of the handling time perch-preys are presented on figures 3.2(Gammarus pulex) , 3.3 (Corixidae) and 3.4 (Asellus aquaticus).

Figure 3.1 . Invert. found in the gut of perch, estimated abundance of such invertebrates in the benthic by hand net sample. 4 different invert were common in the gut content, thus the 4 were used for the estimation.

Predation Experiment

The results of Perch predation on  the various prey items  are presented in the following charts.
