In total 5,501 individuals of saproxylic beetles were found in this study, belonging to 239 species. Of the total number of species, 27 were on the Swedish red-list. 

• About 2/3 of the saproxylic (wood-living) beetles found in oak (Quercus robur), were found in the other broad-leaved tree species ash (Fraxinus excelsior), norway maple (Acer platanoides)  and small-leaved lime (Tilia cordata).

• About 1/3 of the beetles found in oak (Quercus robur), seem to be oak specialists.
• All the four broad-leaved tree species had some monophagus (specific) species associated.
• The species composition of beetles found in pitfall traps were more similar compared to window traps.
