My name is Isabella Gasparini and here you will be able to read about my Master's Thesis in Biology: Physiology and Molecular Genetics. My study was conducted in La Paz, Bolivia (2011-2012) were I was working with the highland avian species, the Ornate Tinamou (Nothoprocta ornata). The aim of my study was to increase understanding on the physiological effects on the cardiorespiratory system in the Ornate Tinamou and investigate how it copes with an increased metabolism.
