TiVi, a reliable method
TiVi imaging showed a clear increase in the TiVi index value in all the 7 Red jungle fowls tested. The following graph shows the overall impact on TiVi index on all the birds during control and after the application of NO gel. Average control TiVi index value was 43.84 and the average TiVi index value after applying NO gel was 57.03. The data was analyzed using Students T test and found significant effect (p=0.008146) which indicates that the TiVi imaging could show the vasodilatory role of NO in the skin of non-broody Jungle fowls.
The following graph shows the impact of NO gel on TiVi index in Zebra finches. Average control TiVi index value was 745.11 and the average TiVi index value after applying NO gel was 837.98. The data was analyzed using Students T test and found significant effect (p=0.044) which indicates that the TiVi imaging could show the vasodilatory role of NO in the skin of non-broody Zebra finches
