Baseline studies of the seals' daily activity prior to the treatments were conducted between August 19th and August 30th, with a total of 25 hours of observations per seal; 12.5 hours in the mornings between 8:30 am and 12:00 and 12.5 hours in the afternoons, between 1:00 pm and 3:30. The seals were fed during the pre treatment baseline at around 8:00 am, 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm
