Diel variation of pCO2 in Lake Erssjön
The mean diel variation of pCO2 for all measurement periods (n=6) and mean diel variation of pCO2 in measurement within period 1-6 respectively, in Lake Erssjön. The pCO2 values were centered around the mean (normalized) each period
There was a clear diel variation of pCO2 in Lake Erssjön throughout the study, with higher concentrations during morning hours, than during the day and night hours. The mean diel variation (for all measurement periods) of pCO2 increased after midnight until the peak at around 9 AM (the actual peak occured at 8 AM due due to Swedish summertime), after which pCO2 rapidly decreased continuously during the day.
