Behavioral effects of postnatal stress in domestic chickens (Gallus gallus)
Hello! My name is Marissa Soto, I am from the U.S. and have been enrolled in the Applied Ethology and Animal Biology Master Program at Linköping University from August 2014 to May 2016. I chose this program to continue my biology education and specifically focus on animal behavior and welfare.
The past year I have been working on my project in the AVIAN Behavioral Genomics and Physiology group with Professor Per Jensen as my supervisor. For my master thesis I investigated long-term behavioral effects in domestic chickens that were exposed to potential stressors from an egg-laying hatchery on their first day of life.
On my webpage you will find more details about my project as well as my uploaded poster and thesis draft.
Please feel free to contact me for more info or any questions!
