Individual lateralization was present for certain behaviours. The number of individuals that demonstrated a lateralization varied based on behaviour. Those behaviours in which at least one horse demonstrated a lateralization are in bold in the table below. No significant side preference at the population level were identified for any behaviours.

No consistency of side preferences across behaviours were identified, which potentially indicates a task-dependent behavioural lateralization.
