Lateralized behavior in white-handed gibbons
Hi, and welcome!
My name is Kiki and I'm a Dutch master's student in Applied Ethology and Animal Biology here at Linköping University. For my thesis project, I have studied the lateralized behavior of 15 white-handed gibbons in 5 different zoos in Sweden and the Netherlands.
Maybe because I am left-handed myself, I've always been interested in lateralized behavior. During the first year of the master, we did a short study on lateralized behavior in white-handed gibbons at Kolmården. After those couple of days there was still a lot to find out and as I fell in love with these awesome little apes, they became the subject of my thesis project!
By navigating through the menu on the left you can find out more about my thesis.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
Thank you for visiting, and enjoy reading!
