What changes happen in the skin of a chicken while incubating?

My name is Shadi Jafari. I am an Iranian master student in Molecular Genetics and Physiology here in the Linkoping university, Sweden. As my master project I worked on changes in the brood patch skin of jungle fowls during incubation.
Some helpful words and abbreviations you might see in this site;
AVA: Arteriovenous anastomosis
Broodiness: While a hen in incubating her eggs
Brood patch: Part of the chest skin in the birds which is in the close contact with the eggs
thermoTRP channel: Thermo Transient Receptor Potential channels. They are the known temperature receptors.
Interscapular skin: The skin covering the back of the bird between its two wings
