Animals has always been my biggest interest, so neither the choice to go into biology studies, or the continuing after three years of studies to the Masters programme in Applied Ethology and Animal Biology were of any suprise to anyone in my surroundings.

When I don't study I spend time with my three dogs. We travel all over Sweden competing in agility at a national level, and we also train and compete in obedience and tracking. Together with my dogs I spend as much time as possible in the nature, there is nothing that can be compared to an undisturbed countryside, no matter were in the world it is located.

My thesis work has been on chickens, and after this year I think more highly of chickens than I ever have before. They are very interesting animals from whom we can learn a lot.

In the future I hope to be able to move abroad, and either go into research concerning the welfare of animals or help them survive in the wild.
