The aims of the study were among others:

1. To identify the fish species  and the macro invertebrates present in the studied area, and the invertebrates distributions.

2.  To find out the predator prey relationship between the fish and the invertebrates.

Thus the hypothesis:

That there is no significant difference in the invertebrates distribution between the two habitats.

That there is no difference in the handling time of Perch among the various prey items and size category.
