Performing chi square test we have shown that the results (Biacore and culture from ulcer secretion) were not statistically different in the case of   Staphylococcus aureus   (p=0.67);Pseudomonas aeruginosa   (p=0.35);   Enterococcus fecalis ( p=3.14). However in case of Staphylococcus epidermidis   (p=28.39) the difference reached significance. Culture results correlated with biacore results for all bacteria with S.epidermidis as an exception.  It could also be seen that the non-correlating results were much less with all the bacteria except S.epidermidis
