Baseline HR and HRV
The baseline HR and HRV was collected to be used as a normal state (baseline) to be compared with the dogs' reactions during thestimuli presentation ( testing procedure).
The Electrocardiograms (ECG) wer collected three times per day during three consecutive days - giving a total of nine recordings per dog.
The recordings were performed at 10 a.m., 12.30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
This was thought to give a good picture of the dogs' daily rhythm of HR and HRV.
Equipment
All data (both during baseline and stimuli presentation) was collected with a telemetric heart rate monitor called TeleVet 100.
