Hi and welcome
My name is Sara and I am from a small town in Sweden. Animals and nature have always been a great interest of mine and during high-school I decided that working with animals in one way or the other was what I wanted to do. I started my university education at SLU, studying ethology and animal welfare and later moved on to the master program, Applied ethology and animal biology in Linköping. When I was presented with the opportunity to do a project about elephants I jumped on it as I have always found elephants to be one of the most fascinating species in the world. On this web-page present to you my master project called: The resting behaviour of African and Asian elephants housed in Swedish zoos.
