Taste responsiveness of West African chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes verus) to ten substances tasting sweet to humans
Welcome!
My name is Daniel Henderson, and my master's thesis involved assessing the sensitivity of chimpanzees to a diverse set of substances tasting sweet to humans. Such studies can help to understand the evolution of the sense of taste. I collected the data for my thesis at Borås Zoo in Sweden.
