My name is Åsa Rosandher and I have always wanted to work with animals. In pursuit of my dream I have studied biology at Linköping University and I enrolled in the international master program applied ethology and animal biology in 2007 . When it was time to choose a master thesis project, I  did not think twice about choosing the snow leopard enrichment project.

I love cats (currently have three at home) and I am passionate about environmental enrichment. I really think that alot of captive animals could do so much better if their environment was equipped with relevant enrichment. We humans need to use our imagination in order to create functional environments for our captive animals, I think we owe it to them!

Anyhow, I did not change my mind eventhough the snow leopards turend out to be less thrilled about the enrichment objects than I had hoped for. Cats will always be cats ....
