I used four different types of enrichment objects (balls, tennis balls, logs and ropes).

Together with the objects I used 5 different odors (cinnamon, lavender, cumin, lemon balm and catnip).

On every testing day the animals got access to two enrichemnt objects, one odorized with one of the odors and one non-odorized. I recorded the activity, location and behavior of the snow leopards by taking notes and by using a videocamera. 

I also performed a baseline study where I recorded the behavior  of the animals during days without any enviromental enrichment.
