The CM5 biosensor chip was immobilized with anti-S.aureus, anti-S.epidermidis, anti-P.aeruginosa, anti-E.fecalis, anti-C.perfringens, anti-B.fragilis and anti-P.oralis each per channel respectively. The chip channel is activated with the injection of NHS-EDC mixture enabling the antibodies to bind to the activated dextran layer of the chip. Finally the chip surface is deactivated with the injection of ethanolamine so that no more binding is enabled with the surface of the chip. The binding affinity of the antibodies to the channel surface was measured in response units using SPR analysis
