Neutral Point Pattern Landscapes
Neutral point pattern landscapes are randomly generated landscapes that can be given different characteristics.
High level of aggregation
In landscapes with high level of aggregation the habitats tend to cluster together.
Low level of aggregation
In landscapes with low level of aggregation the habitats tend to be more evenly spread across the landscape.
Landscape with habitat types assigned
From the generated landscapes landscapes with three different classes of habitats are created. Farms and two different classes of wild habitats, class one with resources for vectors and class two that only acts as stepping stones for migration.
Several different generated landscapes are combined to create landscapes where the farms and the wild habitats have different levels of aggregation.
In the example picture red dots represent farm habitats, black dots wild habitats of class one and blue dots will habitats of class two.
