Latency to approach ambiguous bucket
There was no significant difference between the treatment and control group in latency to approach the ambiguous bucket before (p=0.85, U=140.5) or after (p=0.73, U=164) the treatment period [Figure 1].
Furthermore, there was no significant difference in latency to approach the ambiguous bucket before the treatment period compared to after for either group (treatment group: p=0.89, Z=-0.14; control group: p=0.45, Z=-0.76).
Length of training phase
Both the treatment and control group needed significantly fewer trials to reach learning criterion for the cognitive bias test after the treatment period compared to before the treatment period (treatment group: p<0.05, Z=-1.99; control group: p=0.01, Z=-2.55) [Figure 2].
There was no significant difference between the groups in number of trials needed to reach learning criterion before (p=0.71, U=124.5) or after (p=0.30, U=121.5) the treatment period.
