Comparing the relationship questionnaires I found that the control group scored significantly higher – indicating a more positive relationship – than the treatment group both before the treatment period (p=0.02, U=88) and after (p=0.05, U=93) [Figure 1].

There was a tendency for the treatment group to improve their relationship score after the treatment period (p=0.07, Z=-1.80). No such tendency was seen for the control group (p=0.52, Z=-0.64).
